Our Story
From Used Cooking Oil to a Smarter Future
GoHijau was born from a simple question: What if used cooking oil could be turned from waste into value?
Every day, large amounts of used cooking oil are generated from households, restaurants and food businesses. When improperly disposed of, it can pollute our waterways and environment. At the same time, this waste still holds value as a recyclable resource.
We saw an opportunity to make the collection process easier, smarter and more rewarding.
That is where GoHijau began.
Combining smart machine technology, IoT and a connected collection ecosystem, GoHijau was developed to provide a more efficient way for communities and businesses to collect and manage used cooking oil.
Our machines enable used cooking oil to be collected, weighed and monitored digitally, while connecting users with collectors and recycling partners.

Growing with the Demand
As collection volumes increased, we recognised the need for a larger and more efficient solution.
This led to the development of our 500L GoHijau Smart Used Cooking Oil Collection Machine — designed for locations that generate and collect larger volumes of used cooking oil.
With a significantly larger storage capacity, the 500L system is suitable for mosques, food premises, markets, institutions, communities and high-volume collection points, helping reduce the frequency of collection and supporting more efficient operations.
The larger machine is part of our ongoing effort to build a collection system that can scale with the needs of our communities and industry partners.
